Processing of personal data
The Abbaye de la Celle is a cultural establishment managed by the Var Department.
The Department undertakes that the collection and processing of personal data from this website will be carried out in accordance with the French Data Protection Act No. 2018-493 of 20 June 2018, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 which has been directly applicable in France since 25 May 2018. Therefore, except where explicitly specified to the contrary on the data entry form, via the contact form https://www.var.fr/contactez-nous, the electronic addresses collected are not subject to any transfer by the Var Department to third parties.The intended use of any information collected is indicated on each online form.
Each form or teleservice limits the collection of personal data to what is strictly necessary (data minimisation) and in particular indicates:
- what are the objectives of the data collection (purposes);
- whether this information is mandatory or optional, in order to manage your request;
- who will have access to it (only the Department in principle, unless there is a stipulation in the form when transmission to a third party is necessary for the management of your request);
- your data protection rights and how you can exercise them with the Var Department.
The personal data collected in connection with the services proposed on the Department’s websites is processed using secure protocols and allows the Var Department to manage the requests received on its IT applications.
The personal data collected in connection with the services proposed by the regional authority is stored pursuant to the rules prescribed by the departmental archives, by the law of 1978 and for a time period justified by the purpose of the processing. The departments of the Var Department have computerised resources designed for the management of your dossier, your request and the services provided to you.
The information recorded is reserved for the use of the departments concerned and may only be transmitted to staff of the Var Department and authorised recipients.
Pursuant to articles 39 and seq. of the amended law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, the French Data Protection Act, you can obtain a copy of the information and, if applicable, have it rectified or erased. You can also state what you want to happen to your data after your death.
Pursuant to article 38 of the amended law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, the French Data Protection Act, you can also, for legitimate reasons, object to the processing of your personal data, except when the processing is in response to a legal obligation or when this right of objection has been excluded by an express provision of the act authorising the processing.
A copy of your personal data can be sent to you, on your request, and on payment of its reproduction costs. However, the Department has the option of opposing obviously improper requests, in particular due to their number, or their repetitive or systematic nature.
